Shaping Wine Moments Since 2018

Established in 2018 by Greg and Christine Edmund, Christine’s Vineyard has flourished from humble beginnings. The vines, first planted by Jim Gilbreth in 2006, became the foundation of what would later transform into a full-fledged winery. By 2019, the Edmunds opened the doors to their inviting tasting room, offering guests a warm and welcoming space to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

In 2022, Janette and Ben Cade took the reins, bringing their passion and dedication to continuing the vineyard’s tradition. They’ve created a space where visitors can unwind on the scenic patio, enjoy live music, and stroll through the vineyard’s picturesque landscape, complete with a serene pond and towering trees. Whether you’re looking for a quiet escape or a place to celebrate with loved ones, Christine’s Vineyard provides a peaceful retreat from the everyday hustle.

The wines at Christine’s Vineyard are crafted with care, using Missouri-grown Chambourcin and Norton grapes to create award-winning selections that reflect the unique character of the land. For those with a sweeter palate, the vineyard also offers a variety of sweet wines, along with craft beers and refreshing non-alcoholic options.

Christine’s Vineyard is more than just a destination for great wine—it’s a place to relax, reconnect, and make lasting memories. Whether you’re sipping wine by the pond or enjoying a lively evening of live music and food trucks, you’ll find something truly special here.

Our Story

Christine’s Vineyard is owned by Ben and Janette Cade. They have both been residents of Southwest Missouri for over 20 years.

Ben grew up in a rural area of Mid Coastal Maine while Janette spent her childhood in the mountains of Western Mexico. They married in June of 2021, giving them a blended family of five wonderful children.

Ben’s background is in residential and light commercial construction and Janette is a professional manager. Neither could have imagined becoming the owners of a beautiful vineyard and entertainment venue before it happened.

Even along the way, it seemed almost out of reach. With support and encouragement from amazing colleagues, friends, and family, the impossible became a reality. A new path became clear. They opened the doors on a vineyard, winery, and tasting room that was feared to have been closed permanently.

Then the fun part began: on the job training. Neither had any experience in winemaking, viticulture, or even bartending. Blessed with experienced staff, experts willing to lend advice, and an eternally patient customer base, Christine’s is once again off the ground and soaring.
